A great school! Administration needs some help with being tougher on discipline issues. Sports are ok, some sports are every gets a trophy which isn’t good for the real athletes. Like anything in life it is what you make of it. Work hard you’ll do well.

Overall, Ocean is an alright school. I don't really have many negative experiences (and for high school, that's a good sign). However, some bad things regarding the school is the bathroom policy and some unhelpful teaching methods. But in the end, Ocean is an ok school with some really fantastic teachers.

Once this was a top school system and the biggest reason we moved to Oakhurst. However we have children in the system from high school to elementary and across the board it has become exponentially worse. There are a couple really good teachers but they are few and far between. It breaks my heart to see the poor concern and terrible atmosphere my children are suffering. Teachers don’t teach but refer the children to websites for answers and explanations. God help you if you have any children requiring extra help because this system would rather pool them into categories and be content to let them struggle and fail. It’s sad that the teachers to the administrators seem to be just out for a paycheck with summers off and as many days out as they can try to justify. Yet we pay higher and higher taxes.
