PvP Talents for Enhancement Shaman
You can choose 3 of the following PvP talents. Each ofthem has their uses, but some are better for certain strategies than others. The top three choices are the most useful but can be replaced with other PvPtalents, depending on your team's goal.
3.1.
Mandatory PvP Talents
Grounding Totem summons an Air Totem with 5 health at the feet ofthe caster that will redirect all harmful spells cast on a nearby party or raidmember to itself. Will not redirect area of effect spells. It lasts 3 seconds. This is a crucial talent for both you and your teammates. You should use thisto "ground" crowd control like Polymorph or Cyclone or largespells like Ebonbolt.
Static Field Totem has only around 5K HP, but can be an importantfactorwhen going for burst for a kill. This will allow you to get offyourdamage without being kited. This traps the enemy team within the circle. This can also be moved, dragging the enemy using Totemic Projection.
Ride the Lightning is a great passive damage PvP talent.
3.2.
Situational PvP Talents
Burrow is an immunity defensive which can also deal moderate damage.
Shamanism is a great Haste buff for your and your teammate to benefit from Heroism/ Bloodlust.t.
Skyfury Totem can be a useful option if playing with a teammate whohas high magic bursts. This totem only impacts abilities that are magic andnotPhysical damage critical hits. Some examples to use this talent with would be aRetribution Paladins,Balance Druids, andDestruction Warlocks. This cansignificantly increase their burst window damage.
Seasoned Winds provides 15% damage reduction against possiblymultipleschools of magic when interrupting the enemy. This promotes the use of Wind Shearwhich is critical to the utility of the Enhancement Shaman. This is a verystrongchoice against any teams with casters. When interrupting some casts like a Chaos Bolt the Shaman will gain 15% damage reduction for all schools ofmagicwhich is a significant defensive to maintain throughout the match.
Shamanism reduces the cooldown of your Heroism/ Bloodlust to 60 seconds at the expense of only makingit give 20% Haste and last only 10 seconds. Additionally, affected playerswill no longer receive the Exhaustion debuff.
